I thought about this movie today... "Bar Girls"... I watched it on VHS in 1999... and it was like a dyke version of Melrose place... like you sleep with my lesbian first who will sleep with your lesbian later who will sleep with her ex boyfriend... serial monogamists, tragic romantics, co-dependancy.... and at the end of the movie... this girl goes..."This is soooo unhealthy!"... *SCENE CLOSES- end of movie*. Fellow lesbians, is this the story of your life? *sigh's dramatically"... well it sure ain't mine!
For the record, my favourite line from the movie is: "I love you more than the air that surrounds this house."
I've said it quite a number of times to friends, family, lovers... but I think I've only said it, unjokingly, to one particular human being.
